Results from the January 2010 freeze may be devastating for SW Florida. All seasonal flowers, bougainvillea, ixora, hibiscus, plumbago just to name a few may not survive. All lawn turf areas will turn brown, but should recover in time. Mid story and taller trees may have the tips turn brown and some may lose all of their foliage, again time will tell the true extent of the damage from this freeze.
